Personalization and multisensoriality for learning

Abstract: This seminar explores the role that sensory elements and personalization play in the empowerment of users with technical artifacts in a learning context. The role of these elements is illustrated through different artifacts (not always digitalized, but always digitally augmented or "enhanced"). It is particularly in line with the Ability Based Design trend.

Bio: Ines Di Loreto is a research professor in computer science at the Université de Technologie de Troyes. She worked at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) before joining UTT in 2013. She received a master's degree in philosophy in 2002 and a PhD in computer science in 2010 from Università degli studi di Milano. In 2019, she obtained her HDR at the Université Paul Sabatier. Her research in the field of human-computer interaction focuses on the role of the body and senses in learning through technology-augmented artifacts.
